1: In a pot, bring water to a boil (or boil in your kettle first) and boil the brussels sprouts for about 10 minutes, until a fork can slide through. 2: Drain and let the brussels steam dry for 3-5 minutes. 3: While that’s happening, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, and chili flakes. 4: Transfer the brussels to an oiled baking sheet and smash them. 5: Season generously with salt and pepper, and spoon the olive oil mixture onto each sprout. 6: Bake at 420°F for 20-25 minutes or until as crispy as desired, flipping halfway through.View original recipe
