Crispy garlicky smashed potatoes baked to perfection. The dish requires patience and results in delicious, tender, and crispy potatoes that can be enjoyed with additional toppings.

What you need

tbsp olive oil

tbsp granulated garlic
fresh parsley

tsp chili flakes
tsp salt

tsp pepper
Instructions
1: In a pot, bring water to a boil and add all of the baby potatoes; allow to cook for about 15 minutes until tender (fork check!). Heat up the oven to 420°. 2: Meanwhile, in a small bowl mix together the olive oil, garlic, parsley, chili flakes, salt/pepper and set aside. 3: Once the potatoes are tender, strain and lay out on a lightly greased baking tray. It’s smash time: grab any flat surface you can to gently smash down each potato, then spread them out a bit. 4: Brush the potatoes with a light layer of just olive oil (the garlic mixture comes later), plus extra salt/pepper before popping them in the oven for 25 minutes to start with. 5: Take them out of the oven after 25 minutes, lather on the olive/garlic/parsley mixture, and then put them back in the oven for another 20-25 minutes. 6: Enjoy these with some extra fresh parsley, a lemon squeeze or parmesan if you want!View original recipe
