Healthy Rice Krispie Squares

This is an easy and fun old recipe for making healthy rice krispie squares using multigrain rice cakes and dark chocolate. It combines almond butter, raw honey, and a dash of cinnamon topped with crushed walnuts.

What you need

oz dark chocolate

cup almond butter
tbsp raw honey

dash cinnamon

candied walnuts

pinch salt
Instructions
1: In a large bowl, crush up 8 rice cakes. 2: In another bowl, combine melted dark chocolate, almond butter, honey, and cinnamon. 3: Pour the chocolate mix into the crushed rice cakes and thoroughly mix to coat everything. 4: Line a pan with parchment paper and spoon in all of the rice crispy mix; using the back of a spoon press down the mix until it is tightly packed into the pan. 5: Top with crushed walnuts and a pinch of salt; then place in the freezer for 30 minutes to harden. 6: Once hardened, cut into individual squares and store them in the fridge.View original recipe
